Biography


 

As an accomplished and seasoned accounting professional through the years, Connie Holt has equipped herself with more than three decades of combined experience in public and private accounting sectors; while providing her impeccable services to multiple industry types including retail, wholesale, service and franchise companies, property management, and contractors. She is an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA), and Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP). She is affiliated with various professional associations, including the National Association for Enrolled Agents, Georgia Association for Enrolled Agents, National Society of Accountants, and  the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation. Through her great mixture of exceptional work ethic and professionalism, along with her well-honed skills and extensive expertise, Connie Holt has earned the respect, not only of her colleagues and contemporaries, but also of her clients.

Connie displays a proficiency in providing client awareness through training for fraud protection and internal controls for both personal and business financial systems. Aside from this, Connie possesses executive management experience in developing innovative solutions to complex accounting and tax issues. She also provides proactive personnel consulting to all levels of human resources, as well as initiates computer system support and trainings to maximize efficiency of clients and their staff. Additionally, she is an expert of tax preparation and tax consulting for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and sole proprietorships.

Connie joined a local financial advisory service firm in 1994 as an accountant and bookkeeper. The company is one of the largest independent financial firms in Atlanta, delivering comprehensive financial solutions to their clients for almost 25 years. During her 18-year tenure with the organization, Connie progressively rose to higher positions. Connie’s broad abilities allowed her to assume multiple positions in the company which include principal, enrolled agent, accredited tax advisor, and accredited tax preparer. She also served as an Executive Committee member, providing overall management to the firm and its subsidiaries. Together with the other executives and staff, Connie contributed to the collective effort of delivering comprehensive financial solutions and outstanding services to a wide-ranging clientele.

Connie, born in Texas, has lived in Georgia for 46 years. She currently resides in Kennesaw, Georgia with her husband, Gary. Apart from practicing her profession, Connie enjoys reading, gourmet cooking, and engaging in charitable works. She is a volunteer for Must Ministries in Marietta, Georgia; while also serving as sponsor for Herobox.org, Operation Christmas Child (through Samaritan’s Purse International Relief), and The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM).
